Some days are better than others. Today was one of those. After a good morning run and a healthy Chick-fil-a breakfast, I took my son to a Touch A Truck event provided by the Parks & Rec. deptartment. Although I never found Leslie Knope, we did have a blast playing in a police car, SWAT truck, mobile computer lab bus, fire truck and more.

Inside the SWAT car

In deep thought about fighting those fires.

Behind the wheel of the patrol car.

Hard at work on the patrol car’s laptop.

Tractor’s tire is slightly taller than Arty.

Playing in the cherry picker.

He loved looking down on his momma for once.

And behind the wheel of the SWAT car, his favorite.

The coolest school bus I’ve ever seen. It’s a mobile classroom.

Learning on the go.

You always do such creative things with little Arty! You are increasing his IQ everytime you do that for him. You’re a great mom! Your Grandmommy Beckett was really good about taking us to various cultural and innovative events, too.
Not just grandmommy but my mom too, right?
